Privacy Policy

The short version
EnableBridge is local-first: by default your game progress never leaves your device, no account is required, and the games work fully offline. If you choose to create an optional account, your progress and email address are also stored in our cloud database (encrypted in transit and at rest) so you can sync across devices. We never sell your data or share it with advertisers.
What we collect
- Game progress: Stored in your browser's local storage (IndexedDB) by default. You can export or delete it any time in Settings.
- Settings & preferences: Stored locally on your device.
- Optional account: If you sign up, we store your email address (for account recovery and parental-consent workflows) and a synced copy of your game progress in Azure Cosmos DB.
- Payments (when available): Processed by Stripe. We receive only a transaction confirmation and supporter status — no card details ever reach us.
- Reliability logs: API requests are logged with a hashed, non-reversible identifier so we can catch errors — never your name, email, or game content.
- Donate button clicks: When you click a donate link, we count the click — no account required. This event carries no identifier and cannot be linked to anything else you do in the app.
- Anonymous daily play counts: To know whether more than one person uses EnableBridge, we estimate how many distinct devices play each day using a one-way daily-rotating hash that is mathematically incapable of storing or recovering who you are. We never store your IP address, and the estimate cannot connect your visits across days. You can turn this off any time in Settings → Privacy → "Don't count my plays".
- Feedback you submit: If you use the feedback form, we store your message and an optional email address (if you choose to leave one) so we can read and respond to it. No account required to submit feedback.
- Share button clicks: When you tap "Share EnableBridge," we add 1 to a daily counter. No identifier, nothing about which game you were playing, and it's covered by the same "Don't count my plays" setting as the anonymous daily play count above.
What we do not collect
- No cookies or tracking pixels
- No advertising or marketing analytics
- No third-party data sharing or data sales
- No accounts, no persistent identifiers, and no way to recognize the same visitor across visits
Your data, your control
Without an account, your data lives only on your device — you can export your save file from Settings to back it up, import it on a new device, or clear it entirely, with no server copy anywhere. With an account, you can delete it any time from Settings → Account → Delete account, which removes both your local and cloud-stored data.
Children
The free games require no account and collect no data at all. Creating an optional account requires verifiable parental consent for users under 13.
Changes to this policy
If our data practices change, we will update this policy prominently and give users explicit notice before any new data leaves their device.
